The Japan NGO Center for International Cooperation (hereinafter referred to as "JANIC") and THINK Lobby, a division of JANIC, will handle your personal information (all information that can identify a living individual, such as name and date of birth) in an appropriate and strict manner in accordance with the spirit of laws and regulations concerning personal information.
1.Collection of Personal Information
JANIC/THINK Lobby will ask you to provide us with personal information when you join the organization, make a donation, or participate in seminars or volunteer activities, based on your consent, by fair means, and to the extent necessary to achieve such purposes.

We will use the personal information you provide within the scope necessary to achieve the following purposes.
・To send you letters of appreciation for your membership or donation, newsletters, etc.
・To acknowledge your support and cooperation in newsletters and other publications.
・To confirm reservations for seminars and other events.
・To provide information and/or request support for JANIC/THINK Lobby's activities.
・To conduct surveys and prepare statistical data for use in our activities.
・To contact you in case JANIC/THINK Lobby needs to reach you for related purposes.
3. Provision of Personal Information to Third Parties
Personal information obtained from you will not be provided to any third party, except in the following cases. In the event that such personal information is provided to a third party, we will require the said third party to appropriately and strictly handle it.
・when your consent has been obtained.
・When requested disclosure of personal information by the relevant authorities on a legal basis.
・When JANIC/THINK Lobby deems it necessary to provide personal information in order to carry out the activities described in "2. Use of Personal Information."
・When JANIC/THINK Lobby engages a subcontractor, who has signed a confidentiality agreement regarding personal information, to handle personal information to the extent necessary to achieve the purpose of use notified to the person concerned.

We will take the following security measures to prevent the leakage, destruction, or falsification of your personal information.
We strive to keep the information accurate and up-to-date.
We designate personnel responsible for data registration, referencing, modification, deletion, etc.
We strive to protect the information by restricting authorized access to the information.
We delete the information in an appropriate manner.

We will respond promptly upon your request regarding disclosure, modification, or discontinuation of your personal information.
6. Compliance with laws and regulations
JANIC/THINK Lobby will comply with laws and other regulations regarding personal information, and will continuously review and improve the management system in a timely and appropriate manner.
